When you walk into Dr Jessica’s treatment room, something’s different. There’s no stuffy clinical vibe, just a genuinely relaxed space where you can actually feel comfortable.
What She Really Loves About Dentistry
Dr Jessica will tell you straight up: she loves helping people work towards a smile they feel good about. Whether that means supporting someone who wants to feel more confident about their teeth, or caring for families she’s seen over the years.
Since graduating from the University of Western Australia, Dr Jessica has completed a residency in Prosthodontics in Queensland and is currently wrapping up a Postgraduate Certificate in Clear Aligner Therapy. She is an accredited Invisalign® clear aligner provider and an Angel Aligner provider. Additionally, she’s a member of the Australian Dental Association.
Dr Jessica has a particular interest in the ‘worn dentition’ and doing the least possible to maintain a healthy mouth. She is known for her attention to detail and will explain and give options for recommended treatment. She keeps her knowledge up to date through ongoing education and stays across new materials and techniques as they emerge.
This helps Dr Jessica offer modern, evidence-informed options where appropriate and guide you through choices that suit your needs and preferences.
A Local Through and Through
Dr Jessica was born and grew up in Perth’s northern suburbs. She started her career in Esperance—that gorgeous coastal town down south—where she worked in both the hospital clinic and private practice. A few years later, she returned to Perth and worked in various private practices in metropolitan Perth before settling with Dr John Moran in 2015.
Dentistry isn’t just a job for Dr Jessica. She’s volunteered in rural and remote communities in Vietnam and Peru, and closer to home, she provides pro bono services through Healing Smiles, a local Western Australian group that provides treatment to women who have experienced family violence.
When She’s Not at Work
Dr Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children. In her spare time, you’ll probably find her family at the beach, or she might be trying to improve her tennis game or playing in her mum’s netball team. And she’s a serious dim sum enthusiast; just ask her about her favourite spots in Perth!
