Dr Harun Mulla, Principal Dentist
When you meet Dr Harun Mulla, you will sense his warm professionalism, calm presence, and genuine empathy. His approach to dentistry is grounded in understanding, shaped by his own early experiences, and guided by a commitment to helping people feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair.

Dr John Moran, Dentist
Dr John Moran always knew he wanted to work in the medical field, and dentistry seemed like the perfect fit as it allowed him the chance to be creative while working with his hands to help patients. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia in 1976, and has been practicing ever since, first in Surrey (UK) and on his return to Perth where he set up his first practice at Wembley Downs. Dr John enjoys interacting with patients on a daily basis and feels very fortunate to have the opportunity to help many patients achieve their smile goals while working alongside a fantastic staff.

Dr Jessica Quach, Dentist
Dr Jessica will tell you straight up: she loves helping people work towards a smile they feel good about. Whether that means supporting someone who wants to feel more confident about their teeth, or caring for families she’s seen over the years.
Dr Jessica has a particular interest in the ‘worn dentition’ and doing the least possible to maintain a healthy mouth. She is known for her attention to detail and will explain and give options for recommended treatment. She keeps her knowledge up to date through ongoing education and stays across new materials and techniques as they emerge.

Dr Alex Siu, Dentist
After beginning his career in Kalgoorlie, Alex quickly earned the trust and loyalty of the local community for his warm manner, precision and exceptional clinical care. His early years provided extensive experience across all areas of dentistry, especially in emergency care and wisdom teeth extractions, laying the foundations for the detailed, outcome-driven work he is known for today.
Patients often seek Alex specifically for cosmetic work such as composite and ceramic veneers and crowns, valuing his gentle approach, attention to detail and commitment to achieving premium results.
Dr Briana Jansen
Dr Briana is committed to providing patient-centred dental care and supporting people in being actively involved in their oral health. From a young age, she was drawn to the health field, and at 13, she became interested in dentistry for its unique blend of hand skills, science, and helping others.
Patients often describe Dr Briana as approachable and easy to talk to. She aims to help people feel comfortable during their visits, taking the time to understand what is important to each individual. She works with patients to create personalised care plans that reflect their values, goals, and preferences.

Dr David Grimm, Dentist
Dr David’s path into dentistry started with an internship at his own dental clinic. He realised that dentistry brought together everything he enjoys most: patient care, artistry, patience, and the satisfaction of solving practical problems with his hands. That moment made the decision clear — dentistry was the career he wanted to build.
Many new patients say they feel heard and at ease quickly. Dr David takes time to listen carefully, understand what matters to you, and explain things in a calm, respectful way. Patients who feel nervous about dental visits often settle in faster than they expected, simply because they feel supported and understood.

Corrie Allan, Dental Hygienist
Upon graduating from Curtin University in 1997, Corrie received her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. With a passion for the health industry and helping people, Corrie decided that HM Dental was the perfect fit for her talents and our patients certainly agree! Corrie is a dedicated practitioner at our Sorrento and Doubleview clinics and a valued long term member of John’s team.
When she isn’t helping patients maintain their dental health in our practice or continuing her own professional development, she enjoys spending time with her family and two children.
Anne Spencer, Dental Hygienist
Anne chose to become a dental hygienist because she enjoys educating and treating people. “The satisfaction of improving someone’s oral health and overall wellbeing drives my passion for this field.” She graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2011 with a Bachelor of Oral Health, and earned a Certificate in Human Nutrition in 2021. Anne also takes continuing education courses and is a member of the Dental Hygienist Association of Australia.
Outside of work, Anne enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband. She also loves taking her two Cavoodles, Yoshi and Tofu, out for walks. Fun fact about Anne: she has a 1st Dan Black Belt in Taekwondo!
Sue Shepherd, Dental Therapist
Sue has been an integral part of our team since 1986, bringing over 40 years of dedicated experience to every patient interaction. She’s driven daily by a genuine love of working with people and being part of a team that improves not just smiles, but overall health and longevity.
Sue is particularly passionate about the link between oral health and chronic disease. She understands that untreated periodontal disease is associated with coronary heart disease, diabetes, and premature births in pregnant women.
Anisa Fuller, Oral Health Therapist
From a young age, Anisa has always had an interest and passion for all things dentistry. Her positive experiences within dental care inspired her to pursue a career in the field, with the goal of providing her community with the same exceptional care she received growing up.
Qualifications and Education
Anisa holds a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Oral Health Therapy, from Curtin University, where she graduated in 2017. Her commitment to professional growth is unwavering, as she constantly engages in professional development and continuing education courses to stay abreast of the ever-evolving dental industry.
For Anisa, the most fulfilling aspect of her profession is patient care. She is dedicated to doing what is right and best for her patients while striving to create an enjoyable experience for everyone who visits.
Life Outside Work
Outside of her professional life, Anisa is a devoted mother. She and her husband love spending time with their little boy, whether it’s at a park, the zoo, or any place that brings joy and fun to their family adventures. She looks forward to welcoming you to HM Dental!
Danele Ferreira, Practice Manager
Dani Ferreira is the Practice Manager at HM Dental, known for her calm, organised approach and the way she helps patients and the team feel genuinely supported.
Dani has always been passionate about bringing together the pieces that make a practice run at its best — organisation, empathy, and clear communication. For her, dentistry is a space where those qualities directly support patient wellbeing, and she enjoys being the person who helps everything feel more comfortable, coordinated, and well looked-after.

Shiva, Head Nurse & Senior Dental Assistant
Shiva is a key member of the HM Dental team, known for her warmth, professionalism, and genuine passion for patient care. With extensive experience in general, cosmetic, and surgical procedures, she brings strong clinical skill and a calm, organised presence to every appointment.
Background & Qualifications
Shiva completed her Certificate IV in Dental Assisting at OHCWA in 2010 and has since built over a decade of hands-on experience across multiple clinics. Her commitment to high standards and teamwork makes her an invaluable part of our practice.
Shiva enjoys creating a comfortable, positive experience for patients and supporting her team to keep the clinic running smoothly. She finds fulfilment in helping patients feel at ease and confident in their care.
Outside the Clinic
Away from work, Shiva loves spending time with family and friends, travelling, cooking, exploring new places, and staying active especially when it involves sunshine, beaches, and good food.
