What does “GAP FREE” mean?
- When you have an Australian health fund and are covered for dental, we will only charge you what the health fund pays for your dental treatment. We will discount the gap so that you won’t pay any out-of-pocket cost.
*Gap Free Kid’s New Patient Check Up and Clean:
- If you have a health fund, to benefit from “gap free”, you must be entitled to a minimum rebate of $108. If you are a private patient (with no private health fund) you will be able to redeem the same “gap free” offer at a discounted price of $108 (valued at up to $352).
**Gap Free Adult New Patient Check Up and X-Rays:
- If you have a health fund, to benefit from “gap free” you must be entitled to a minimum rebate of $87. If you are a private patient (with no private health fund) you will be able to redeem the same “gap free” offer at a discounted price of $87 (valued at $187).
***New Patient Teeth Whitening Offer:
- Please note that you will need an initial dentist examination to confirm your suitability and to advise if any other dental work is needed before we can proceed with your teeth whitening. You will be eligible for the new adult patient gap free check-up and x-ray offer.
- If you have a health fund, to benefit from “gap free” you must be entitled to a minimum rebate of $190. If you are a private patient (with no private health fund) you will be able to redeem the same “gap free” offer at a discounted price of $190 (valued at $290).
- You will also need a clean if it is more than 6 months since your last dental clean.
